Introduction

In this article, we will explore the process of building a comprehensive dashboard that provides valuable insights into Game Provider Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR). More importantly, we will demonstrate how you can leverage this data to implement cost-saving strategies.

💰‍ How can we save on Game Provider fees using this Dashboard?

Game providers typically charge a percentage of the positive Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) as well as a set monthly fee. This invoice is finalised at the end of each month.
If mid-month, you have a negative GGR (meaning you're losing money with that provider) with a particular game provider, you can encourage your players to play games from that provider to bring the GGR as close to zero as possible.

In our example Dashboard above, players generated €-6,825 GGR on FTGames so far this month. To save on costs, we could entice our players to play games provided by FTGames until the end of the month or until the GGR reaches zero.
Pro tip: Once you've highlighted which games you wish to promote, you can place them at the top of your website for higher visibility. Make sure to check this dashboard regularly, as a single big win might impact the GGR drastically!

🧰‍ How to build the Dashboard

First, we will need to create a Dashboard (the guide to creating Dashboards can be found here).
Once our Dashboard is created we can add a new Widget from scratch and select the In-Depth Activity Performance Data Scope:

You can read more about Data Scopes here.
To build this Widget, we will need to add the following:
  1. Measures: Actives, Bet Count, Return to Player, Total GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue), Total NGR (Net Gaming Revenue), Highest Single Bet, Highest Single Win, Total Bets, Average Bets, Margin.
  2. Dimensions: Casino Vendor Name, Casino Vendor Id, Date (This Month).
  3. Order by: Total GGR - Ascending.

Once again, here's the final result:
We can create an alternate version of this Widget with the following selections:
  1. Measures: Actives, Bet Count, Return to Player, Total GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue), Total NGR (Net Gaming Revenue), Highest Single Bet, Highest Single Win, Total Bets, Average Bets, Margin.
  2. Filter: Casino Vendor Name equals "Select the Game Provider you wish to see"
  3. Dimensions: Casino Game Name, Casino Game Id, Date (This Month)
This Widget would provide the same data but broken down per game, from the provider(s) of your choice.
